Recommended format

Pool play, then a playoff

Pools first, then a playoff, is the usual shape for a baseball weekend: pools of 3 or 4 on day one, so every team gets two or three games, then the top two from each pool into a single-elimination bracket. For a one-day event with few fields, a straight bracket keeps it moving, and double elimination guarantees everyone two games.

Scoring

Runs

Enter each game's final runs. The bracket tracks who advances and who drops, and pool standings apply your tiebreakers automatically, with head-to-head first.

Who uses it

Made for the people running baseball events.

  • Youth leagues and boosters

Booster clubs and leagues hosting an invitational or an all-star weekend, with sponsors' logos on the page that pays for the fields.

  • Adult amateur baseball

Men's leagues, church leagues, and over-30 and over-40 circuits that end the season with a tournament.

  • Weekend tournament hosts

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Pool play or a bracket?

Most baseball tournaments play pools first, so every team gets its pool games, then seed the top teams into a single-elimination bracket. TourneyPage builds the bracket from the standings the moment the last pool game is final. Straight single or double elimination is one switch away.

How are games scored?

Enter the final runs for each game and the standings and bracket update. Innings, time limits, run rules, and extra innings are your rules to set; the page shows the final score and, if you add them, the game times and fields you decide on.

Do parents need an app?

No. Parents and coaches open the link in any browser; there's no app and no account. Helpers you choose can enter scores from a link of their own.

Can I run several age groups at once?

Yes. Put 8U, 10U, and 12U on one tournament, each with its own teams and format, and publish them once. Every division is on one page with its own link.
