Free printable brackets

Single elimination brackets for 4 to 32 teams.

Every bracket here is drawn by the engine that runs TourneyPage tournaments: byes to the top seeds, every game numbered, and seeding that keeps the top two apart until the final. Print the PDF free, or make it a live page for $29.

How it works

One loss and you're out.

Single elimination is the bracket everyone can read: win and move right, lose and go home. With a full frame (4, 8, or 16 teams) every team plays in round one. Any other count sits in the next bigger frame, and the empty first-round slots become byes for the top seeds, who start in round two.

Seeding decides who can meet when. Seed 1 is placed opposite seed 2, so they can only meet in the final; seeds 3 and 4 are in the other halves, so they can only meet the top two in the semifinals. Round one pairs the highest remaining seed with the lowest. TourneyPage draws it that way from the order you give it, and you can reorder the seeds before the first score.

A third-place game is optional: the two semifinal losers play once more, usually right before the final. It's one switch in the builder, and every size page counts it separately so your game count stays honest.

Is it the right format?

When single elimination fits, and when it doesn't.

Use it when

The day is short, the fields are few, or the field is big: 16 teams is only 15 games. It's also the usual playoff after pool play, where everyone has already had their guaranteed games.

Consider something else when

Teams are traveling to play once. Double elimination promises everyone two games, and pool play into a playoff promises three or more. TourneyPage runs all three, with up to 32 teams per division.
