Compared

Challonge, Bracket HQ, Tournify, PrintYourBrackets, and TourneyPage, compared.

We make TourneyPage, so read this the way you'd read any maker's comparison. The facts in the table come from each company's own pricing page on October 11, 2026, linked in the last column, and the section after it says what TourneyPage doesn't do.

The honest part

What TourneyPage doesn't do.

  • No registration, waivers, or entry-fee collection. Teams sign up the way they do now; the page is the program for the day.
  • No automatic scheduling. You type the game times and courts you decide on, and they show on the page.
  • No Swiss rounds, no group-stage variants beyond pools into a playoff, no three-game guarantee or consolation brackets.
  • No leagues or seasons; one tournament at a time, though a past event copies into a new one.
  • No app. Viewers open a link in a browser, which is the point, but there is nothing to install.
  • No custom domains and no co-organizer accounts. Helpers get a link that enters scores and nothing else.
  • Published pages stay out of search engines unless you share the link; that is by design for small events.

If any of those is the thing you need, one of the other tools is the better pick, and the table above is a fair place to start.

Which one

A fair guess at who should pick what.

Challonge

Esports and gaming communities, Swiss or group-stage formats, fields past 32 teams, and anyone who wants a free bracket and doesn't mind the ads.

Bracket HQ

A quick free bracket for up to 32 teams when the team list is final before you start and ads on the page are fine.

Tournify

Events of 8 teams or fewer for free, with per-event upgrades above that; a natural fit in Europe, where it's based and prices in euros.

PrintYourBrackets

Paper. If the bracket lives on a clipboard or a poster board, their printables cover almost every size, and ours are free too.

TourneyPage

A real-world tournament of 8 to 32 teams that should look official on every parent's phone: no ads, your sponsors and logo, every division on one page, pool play into a playoff, helpers entering scores from the field, and game times. One payment of $29, no subscription.
