Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) cover your use of TourneyPage, including the website at tourneypage.com, organizer accounts, and the public tournament pages we host (together, the “Service”). “We,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of TourneyPage. By creating an account, publishing a tournament, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

2. What the Service does

TourneyPage is a tool for tournament organizers. You can create a tournament, add teams or participants, generate a bracket, preview the public page, and pay to publish it at a shareable link. Anyone with the link can view a published page without an account.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid, published page does, we’ll try to give you reasonable notice.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an organizer account.
• Give us accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us right away at support@tourneypage.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Your content

“Your content” means what you add to the Service, such as tournament names, dates, locations, team or participant names, scores, rules, and announcements. You keep ownership of your content.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, and share your content as needed to run the Service. That includes showing your published page to anyone who has the link. This license ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except for copies kept in routine backups for a limited time or as required by law.

You’re responsible for your content and for having the right to post it. Published pages are public to anyone with the link. They are hidden from search engines by default, but they are not private. Don’t post information you don’t want shared, and avoid posting sensitive personal details. For youth events, we recommend using team names rather than children’s full names.

5. Acceptable use

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

• Break the law or help anyone else break it.
• Post content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, defamatory, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Try to access accounts, data, or systems you aren’t authorized to access, or interfere with the Service (for example, with malware, scraping, or excessive automated traffic).
• Use the Service to send spam or to collect personal or payment information from people under false pretenses.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Payments

Building and previewing a tournament is free. Publishing a tournament costs a one-time fee, currently $29 (USD) per tournament. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Prices may change in the future, but a change won’t affect a tournament you’ve already paid to publish.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t receive or store your full card number. Your payment is also subject to Stripe’s terms. A tournament is published only after we confirm the payment with Stripe. Any applicable taxes are your responsibility unless we collect them at checkout.

7. Refunds

If your published page didn’t work as described, email support@tourneypage.com within 14 days of your payment. We’ll work with you to fix the problem, and if we can’t, we’ll refund your payment.

Otherwise, publishing fees are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service and published pages available, but we can’t promise they will always be online, error-free, or available for any particular length of time. We may need to pause the Service for maintenance, security, or reasons outside our control.

Scores and results on a public page are entered by the organizer. We don’t verify them and aren’t responsible for their accuracy.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and tournaments, email support@tourneypage.com. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or other people at risk. If we close your account for reasons other than a violation, we’ll try to give you notice first.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your misuse of the Service, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. If a change is significant, we’ll give notice on the site or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
