FAQ

Questions, answered.

Straight answers about what TourneyPage does today, what it costs, and what it doesn’t do.

Do I need an account?

You need a free organizer account to build a tournament, so your work is saved. Players, parents, and fans never need an account. They just open your link.

How much does it cost?

Building your tournament, adding teams, generating the bracket, and previewing the public page are free. Publishing is a one-time $29 payment per tournament, processed securely by Stripe. No subscriptions, no renewals.

How many teams can I add?

Up to 32 teams or participants, or 32 in each division if you run several. Paste one team per line. The order of your list is the seed order, so put your top seed first.

Which formats are supported?

Single elimination, double elimination, and pool play. Brackets place byes automatically when your team count isn't a power of two. Pool play splits teams into pools that each play a full round robin, with live standings and tiebreakers, then sends the top teams to a single- or double-elimination playoff you seed from the standings. One pool with no playoff is a plain round robin.

Can I run more than one division?

Yes. Add up to 12 divisions, like 10U, 12U, and Open, to one tournament. Each division gets its own teams, format, and page under one tournament link, and one $29 payment covers every division.

How do scores show up on the public page?

Enter scores from your dashboard as games finish. They appear on the public page as you enter them, and the page refreshes itself, so fans don't have to keep reloading.

Can I make changes after publishing?

Yes. Scores, rules, and announcements can be updated anytime, and a pool-play playoff can be built from the final standings after you publish. Teams and format lock once the bracket or pool schedule is generated, and it can only be regenerated while the tournament is unpublished. Divisions can't be added or removed after publishing either, so check your seeds in preview before you publish.

What does the public link look like?

Each tournament gets its own address based on its name, like tourneypage.com/e/your-tournament. Share it anywhere: group chats, email, social posts, or a printed sign.

Can I get a QR code for the venue?

Yes. Once your tournament is published, your dashboard shows a QR code for your public link. Download it as a high-resolution PNG to print on a sign, or copy the link.

Can I post game times and courts?

Yes. Add a time and a court or field to any game in the builder, and fans see them on your page, with the next games listed by time. TourneyPage doesn't schedule games for you: you type the times you've planned, and you can change them anytime.

Can someone else enter scores?

Yes. Create a helper link for each person or court and send it however you like. It opens only score entry for your tournament, with no sign-in, and every score says who entered it. Turn a link off anytime.

Can I add my colors, logo, and sponsors?

Yes. Pick two colors for the top of your page, upload your logo, and list your sponsors with their logos and links. Make one your presenting sponsor to name them under your event name. It's all part of the $29, and you can change it anytime, even after you publish.

What sports does it work for?

Anything that runs as a bracket or round robin: basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, pickleball, cornhole, flag football, table tennis, and more. Scores follow the sport: volleyball, pickleball, and tennis are entered set by set, tied soccer games can go to penalty kicks, overtime wins are marked OT, and forfeits show as W / FF. It doesn't track player or sport-specific stats.

Can I run multiple tournaments?

Yes. Create as many as you like for free. Each tournament costs a one-time $29 to publish, however many divisions it has.

Can I use my own domain?

No. Custom domains aren't available. Every tournament page lives at tourneypage.com/e/ followed by your tournament's name.

Will my tournament page show up in Google?

No. Tournament pages are hidden from search engines by default, so they're seen by the people you share the link with.

Can teams register or pay through TourneyPage?

No. TourneyPage doesn't handle registration, waivers, or collecting money from participants. You add the teams yourself, and TourneyPage gives everyone one clean page to follow.
